Jonathan Spencer Levy is an Emmy-award-winning visual effects artist whose clients include Disney and Warner Brothers. From childhood he has been fascinated by astronomy—the galaxies, planets and exotic phenomenon that challenge our imagination. He developed the concept for Grow Together Books while reading to his son, Max.

Combining his passion for science and his skill with futuristic animation, Spencer creates stories with layers of complexity that kids and parents can explore in more depth each time they read together. When he is not illustrating robot-boy heroes, Spencer can be found spending time with his wife and son in Portland, Oregon.
